Gina - Day Care Supervisor

Gina completed a Level 3 Animal Management course at Askham Bryan, during this time she volunteered at two different grooming salons as part of her work experience. After completing the course, Gina continued to volunteer as she thoroughly enjoyed working with dogs. In September 2018, Gina began volunteering here at Carrie’s Dog Day Care on a regular basis. When a permanent position arose in October 2018, Gina applied for the position and was offered a role as Day Care Assistant. Gina is responsible for ensuring the centre is cleaned to the high standards set and are adhered to by all team members and that your dogs have an awesome day. Gina successfully completed a level 3 qualification in Dog Day Care in the Spring of 2022.

Oleksiy - Day Care Assistant

Oleksiy joined the team in July 2023. From the onset his passion for working with dogs was clearly evident, supervising the dogs during play and enrichment and ensuring the dogs engage appropriately. He excels at ensuring the centre is cleaned to the highest standard and has successfully completed his Ofqual Level 3 Dog Day Care qualification. Prior to Oleksiy moving to the UK with his family, he was a regular volunteer at a dog rescue centre in the Ukraine.

Volunteers

People love to help out at Day Care. This might be for experience or purely for their love of dogs. We have a fabulous team of volunteers to help make your dogs experience here a great one!
